				<title>InsectHobbyist's Forums - Wolf Spider Forum</title>

				<link>http://forums.insecthobbyist.com/forum.php?catid=47</link>

				<description>

				  Welcome to the Wolf Spider Forum. Here you may post messages or questions pertaining to the keeping of live and/or preserved species of wolf spiders. Wolf spiders are named because of their technique of running down their prey. Usually most active at night they have very good eyesight and are often seen crossing roadways at night in their search for food.

Wolf spiders carry their egg sacs on their spinneret until the young spiderlings hatch, at which point the mother carries them on her back. Wolf spiders are an important pest control mechanism
consuming millions, or billions, of harmful insects each year.
