I was a youth camp leader at my church's camp for girls a few years ago. People were always bringing bugs to me to ask me what they were. Well, one night, I finally have time to take a shower and relax and someone runs into the shower building saying that the leaders need me immediatly. So I rinse the shampoo out of my hair and get dressed and when I go outside, there's like five or so people huddled around something holding a flashlight. I go over and they get all excited and show me this jar with a huge spider in it and they ask me if it's poisonous. I said, "It's a wolf spider" they asked if wolf spiders were poisonous and I said no and they all gave a big sigh of releif. They asked me to let it go somewhere away from the cabins so I walked up to the nearest tree, dumped out the spider, and walked back. They all looked very worried, then they asked me to go catch it again, take it way far away from the cabins and release it. I did, for their own peace of mind. But I didn't tell them about all the wolf spiders that I had just seen in the shower...
