Well if all you want is to see activity inside the container , i would guess a grasshopper could do it lol. The only thing is it will probably be hitting it's head alot when it jumps lol.

I don't know how big your spider is but if you find a big enough grasshopper, your spider will not care for it for as long as you provide it with easier preys.

And grasshoppers are rather easy to feed since they feed on vegetation. I'm thinking any kind of leaf would do.

Oh and by the way, if your wolf is a burrower, i doubt it will move to the premade housing you gave it unless you remove the substrate. By taking away the substrate, the spider will use anything available to hide and rest during the day but if digging is an option then thats what it'll do.
